taking an illustration class

Today, I discovered there is an artist I can recognize by a tiny sample of his work.  I followed a tweet ‘focus on creating with negative space, while doodling…’ and there I was, taking an IllustrationClass. Created by Von. R. Glitschka (that’s the one). The idea was to fill some simple abstract shapes with whatever your imagination prompts.

He said: ‘be creative, push yourself and have fun’ .

I did: relaxed and doodled a bit (on a print of an exercise sheet).

And that’s what I got:
