I badly long for spring. I desperately want flowers. So I vector them.

Caltha palustris are one of the first I find every spring. The other are violas but … well .. it’s a challenge to vectorize their subtleness.

Last night I changed my twitter background. Today patterns are a sort of ‘side effect’ – I simply used some elements created for the background.

My hibiscus flower is doing well (see one of my previous posts). I’m trying hard not to forget to water it from time to time. Same (hard) thing about posting here ;). But … I hope to have some more time soon … then I’ll blog more frequently…

I found a flower pot by the trash-cans in my courtyard on Saturday before Easter. Two long ligneous branches, a few deep-green leaves, plenty of yellow, falling ones (nothing too spectacular).
But I took it home.
When I saw it that morning (and it was May, 1st – isn’t it a day that has something to do with flowers?…) I was slightly shocked. Huge red and yellow, beautiful flower (google confirmed later that it was hibiscus). It was in blossom for that one day only.
Was it a ‘thank you’? ;)
