Yes, it happened I was scratching my head what DM could mean (luckily enough it was not @ me). So if you are in my shoes, you can browse some nice sites: a clear list or some in-depth explanations.
Or keep the top 15 acronyms stuck to your desktop. At least for some time until you learn them/get bored with the wallpaper. You can download them in three resolutions: widescreen 1920×1200, 1680×1050 and 1600×1200.
